Grizzlies head to Charlotte hungry for a win

In the opinion of a minimum of 1 Bobcats player, hiring Paul Silas & his fast paced offensive scheme had been precisely what had been required to bring new spirit into the once frustrated team.

Charlotte are trying to carry on their momentum under the interim coach while attempting for a 4th consecutive home court victory against the Grizzlies on Monday evening.

With Larry Brown at the wheel the Bobcats ( 13 - 21 ) put in 91.8 points while going 9 - 19 as the ballers didn't like his slow-down half-court system and had been resistant.

With Silas, Charlotte have put in 99.2 points while winning 4 of 6.

Jackson had twenty-one points with ten boards, D.J. Augustin put in 20 with 9 dishes & Gerald Henderson added nineteen points with 9 rebounds in Saturday's 104 - 89 victory against the Wizards.

Augustin is putting in 19 with Silas at the helm - almost 6 more than his year average.

Henderson, a 2nd - year G who never cracked Brown's rotation & missed 14 contests having a sore knee, is getting an opportunity while Gerald Wallace has missed 8 of the previous 10 contests with an ankle injury.

With Wallace & beginning center Nazr Mohammed who has a bruised knee each anticipated to miss a fourth consecutive game, Charlotte will attempt to avenge a 113 - 80 defeat at the Grizzlies in 1 of Brown's previous contests Dec. 15.

Jackson had sixteen points as Charlotte put in 41.2 % & committed 20 turnovers.

the Grizzlies ( 17 - 20 ) put in 52.4 % in that a big test game to break a 4 game overall slide versus Charlotte. Memphis have put in 42.3 % & put in 86 while dropping 3 straight in the Bobcats.

Zach Randolph, who'd nineteen points & 9 rebounds versus Charlotte the previous month, is putting in 27 & 14.0 rebounds over his previous 6 contests. The veteran forward had 27 & 16 during a 109 - 100 defeat at the Thunder on Saturday.

While Randolph made 12 of 21 FG attempts, the rest of Memphis put in 38.9 %, which includes 1 of 15 from beyond the arc.
