The Bulls have hit the 30 victory mark with Tom Thibodeau more than a month earlier than the previous year, however the 1st year coach wants a more all around performance from his club, particularly versus competitors with below.500 records.

The Bulls will attempt to do exactly that Monday evening at the United Center versus the below.500 & injury Hampered Bucks.

Chicago ( 30 - 14 ) beat NBA worst Cavs 92 - 79 on Saturday evening for their tenth victory in 11 home court matchups, however only following almost losing a twenty point advantage. The Bulls had their lead reduced to 77 - 75 with 4:37 remaining prior to pulling away.

Derrick Rose had a team-high twenty-four points & is putting in 28.0 within a 5 - 1 span for Chicago, which picked up their 31st matchup in 2009 - 10 on February 26th.

The Bulls had been leading 27 - 15 following 1 quarter on their home court versus the Bucks on December 28th however had been losing by a point at half-time. Chicago kept a 3 point edge half-way through the 4th quarter prior to beginning a 16 - 4 rally during the 90 - 77 win, which broke a 3 game skid to the Bucks ( 16 - 25 ).

Carlos Boozer got twenty-four points in that victory to equal Deng & had 20 on Saturday following skipping 3 matchups having a sprained left ankle.

Milwaukee most likely hopes them might get a few of their players 100%. John Salmons, who put in a team-high 18 versus the Bulls during the December defeat, is coping with an ailing right hip.

Ex- Bull Drew Gooden has a hurt left foot, & top scorer Brandon Jennings ( 17.9 points per game ) is wanting to come back soon from a broken left foot.

Not having Jennings & Salmons, the Bucks put in a minimum of 100 points in straight contests for the 2nd occasion this year within their back to back victories. That stretch came to a close as 1 of the NBA's worst scoring ( 91.2 points per game ) & worst shooting ( 42.2 % ) clubs came back to form during a 94 - 81 home court defeat to Memphis on Saturday evening.

The Bucks put in 37.8 % in that loss & Earl Boykins had been 8 of 22 while putting in a team-high twenty-three points.
