The F.A cup has and always will be one of the greatest cup competitions in the world. It brings together lower league and amateur football clubs and gives them the opportunity to pit their wits against the biggest teams in English football. When it comes to actually winning this great competition it is hard to look past the top teams in the English premier league, although it has been won in the past by teams that have not been so high up in the league. of Sunderland and Coventry have had success in the F.A. cup in the past and who could forget Wimbledon beating the highly fancied Liverpool in this same competition. So it is not beyond the realms of possibility that another club from outside of the top ten teams in the premier league can actually go on to win this competition.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, who once again look among the favorites to get their hands on this trophy. Chelsea's Didier Drogba seems to just love scoring at Wembley, so it will take a lot to prevent Chelsea from winning this yet again. Manchester United has bolstered their squad with players such as Javier Hernandez and will once gain look to feature prominently. Liverpool and Arsenal will also have their say on which way this cup goes and Manchester City with all their new acquisitions would love to get some silverware in their cabinet for the first time in years. Tottenham may also be one to watch out for this year.
